It follows the story of Denji, a young man who makes a living as a Devil Hunter by using his pet Devil named Pochita, who can transform into a chainsaw. We are at the final volume of Part I of Chainsaw Man! I have to say that this volume was a bit confusing as it did a bunch of jumping around but in any event… Normally, I just do “Final Thoughts” on the last volume of a series but it’s clear as day that Chainsaw Man is far from over. I have no idea when we will see Part II but it’s definitely coming and because as such, we have some character development to talk about and how that will lead us into the second part of the story. After this, we head into the ending where we are introduced to a new character along with the “End of Part I” text. Characters Chainsaw Man was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2018 until 2020, when it then transferred to Shonen Jump+ online magazine, where the current story continues. The series is currently collected in 11 Tankōbon volumes.

The series' anime adaptation began airing in October 2022 and finished airing its first 12-episode season in December of the same year. Two PVs and two visuals were released for it.

Meanwhile, sometime after leaving the Public Safety, Denji has now started to go to high school, while he also continues to exterminate devils. He still wishes to get a girlfriend and often tries to "accidentally" expose his identity as the Chainsaw Man. It explores themes of humanity, morality, and identity, as well as the consequences of power and the value of loyalty and friendship. This was quite the wild ride. Some parts didn’t make sense but the fights throughout the series were way over the top and entertaining. Denji is just a great character because he is such a loathsome human being but you also care about him, you feel sorry for him, but it’s great to have a laugh at his expense every now and then, too. Following the death of her mother, Fourth East highschooler Asa Mitaka isolates herself from society, fearing that she would never lead a stable normal life. Her life changes forever when one day, a student in contract with the Justice Devil kills her, Yoru the War Devil arrives, saving her. Now Asa has been reborn as the War Devil's vessel while sharing her abilities as a Fiend Host.

The series features a unique blend of horror, comedy, and action, with elements of romance and tragedy thrown in. When the mob betrays Denji and he’s killed by a Devil, Pochita sacrifices himself to revive his former master. Now Denji has been reborn as some kind of weird Devil-Human hybrid. He is now Chainsaw Man! The series has over 15 million copies in print, and the seventh best-selling manga in 2021 with over 5 million copies sold. It is also licensed in English France, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Thailand, Poland, Germany, Argentina, Taiwan, South Korea, Russia, and in Vietnam. Other media for this series include a novel titled Chainsaw Man: Buddy Stories that was released in November 2021 written by Sakaku Hishikawa, with illustrations by Tatsuki Fujimoto.I’m glad that there was a seed planted for Power to get revived. It was really heartwarming when she called him the first friend she ever had. These two HAVE to hook up in the future. It would be incredibly painful to friendzone these two forever! I’m also glad Power’s death isn’t going to be permanent because she was my favorite character in the series so far!
