I live in Diss and work from my studio at home. Often accompanied by our loving pets.
Since I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to putting colour on a blank page. I have a creative family who have always encouraged it
studied at New Suffolk College where I focused on illustration. My love for collage started there.
My work is abstract, focusing on colour, shape, composition and pattern. All with a sense of freedom.
For me it’s a way to calm my mind, cultivate happiness. It offers escapism for me and onlookers. A splash of colour to put a smile on your face. I like to think it’s work that can appeal to any age.
I love Matisse, his use of colour, shape and his determination.
However, I get inspired by a lot of things. Whether it’s fashion, a conversation or an emotion.
