Paranoia and conspiracy aren’t sustainable vibes in the long term, and the longer the book went on, the less I cared about the answers. I won’t give examples, but there were times when rationales or explanations seemed pretty thin/fragile - like you shouldn’t think too hard about it or you’d start scratching your head.
